Horace Greely once said, “Go West Young Man!” and we are definitely following his advice for this great Western Adventure.
This will be our most extensive adventure ever offered.
Our first stop will be in Branson, Mo. for a great country music show.
Next stop will be Oklahoma City for visits to the Cowboy National Museum and the Oklahoma City Memorial.
We will journey across the Texas Panhandle with a stop at the Cadillac Ranch and then to Albuquerque, N.M.
We venture on to see breath taking views of the Grand Canyon and a tour of the Canyon with a step-on-guide. We continue to Cortez, Colorado passing through Monument Valley. We will visit the ancient cliff dwellings of Mesa Verde and spend two nights at Durango, Colorado.
A train excursion on the Durango to Silverton narrow gauge railroad will offer magnificent views as you travel up the mountain. We continue our journey through Colorado with a stop at the Royal Gorge. It’s then on to Colorado Springs for a two night stay. We will be traveling the 14,000 foot journey on the Cog Railway to the summit of Pike’s Peak. A step-on-guide will give us a tour of the Garden of the Gods, Air Force Academy and other sites of interest. We will also have a step-on-guide for a tour of Denver.
We next travel west to Moab, Utah. We will visit Canyonland and Arches National Parks and take a cruise to see Canyon land at night.
This should be a remarkable experience!
We overnight in Salt Lake City before heading to Jackson Hole where we will have a step-on guide for a tour of the Grand Tetons.
Our adventure continues with a visit to Yellowstone National Park with a guided tour of the park. Old Faithful is a must see.
We then begin our journey east. We will spend a night in Cody before heading to Mount Rushmore and Custer State Park. We will be joined by a step-on-guide for a tour of the area, including Crazy Horse.
While in Rapid City S.D., we will enjoy the Fort Hays Chuckwagon Dinner and Ole West Cowboy Show.
After our two night stay in Rapid City, we continue east with a stop at Wall Drug and a tour through the Badlands.
We will overnight in Sioux Falls, S.D. before heading to our final night at the Isle of Capri in the Quad Cities.
You can expect a mid-afternoon arrival time back to Indiana.

We first visit Kokomo Opalescent Glass Factory. This factory tour has been named Indiana’s best factory tour.
Traveling from the world of glass to a place of the past, we arrive at Sieberling Mansion. This mansion is listed on the US National Register of Historic Places, built in 1889 at the cost of $50,000. Around that same era, Elwood Haynes invented the vapor thermostat and became “The Father of the Natural Gas Industry”. We will visit the Elwood Haynes Museum, devoted to his works and invention of the first horseless carriage.
Our next stop is the Kokomo Automotive Museum. This museum has over 100 antique cars and vintage memorabilia.
