Throughout the year the Museum also features travelling exhibits made up of breathtaking works of quilt and fiber art. Visit the Purple Toad Winery, Kentucky’s largest and most awarded winery. Hopkinsville, Kentucky is the home of the “point of greatest eclipse” for the 2017 total solar eclipse. It will be the first total solar eclipse in the Continental U.S. in 38 years. There will not be another total solar eclipse in the Continental U.S. again until 2045 and then in 2078. A wonderful vantage point has been reserved in Hopkinsville with lunch included. This evening, enjoy the Tropicana Evansville Casino and Hotel on the scenic banks of the Ohio River in southwestern Indiana. Breakfast is included plus $5 in slot play.
On our way home lunch will be included at Stoll’s Lakeview Authentic Amish Buffet Restaurant in beautiful Southwestern Indiana, situated on a 620 acre lake in West Boggs Park. We’ll visit Indiana’s oldest & largest winery, Oliver Winery. You can individually choose up to 8 wines to taste and will enjoy an optional tour.
Join us as we experience beautiful quilts and casinos, taste award winning wines and experience a once in a lifetime Total Solar Eclipse, weather permitting.
