Brookgreen Gardens – Visit the floral jewel of South Carolina’s coastal community. Our visit includes the Creek Excursion where we’ll cruise the creeks on a 48-foot pontoon boat. We’ll pass historic rice fields, now home to alligators, waterfowl, and osprey. An interpreter helps us see the distinctive landscape of the rice plantations and understand the role of enslaved Africans in the cultivation of the rice crop and the shaping of the history of the Lowcountry. $25.00 per person
Duplin Winery – Sample 10 wines and enjoy delicious gourmet crackers and dip. Plus, you get to keep your Duplin wine glass and have a serving of wine afterwards from the tasting sheet. $12.00 per person.
