Canyons, waterfalls, abundant wildlife and wildflower meadows paint the landscape of this Illinois State Park.  In 1966, Starved Rock State Park was named a National Historic Landmark and is the top attraction for the State of Illinois!  Human habitation dates back over 11,000 years and the first explorers arrived in the 1600”s. 

Enjoy lunch in the historic main dining room at the Starved Rock Lodge. Then enjoy a narrated trolley tour of the park and surrounding area, followed by a boat cruise! Restrooms are available throughout and minimal walking is involved on this tour.  Return to Lafayette at approximately 8:00PM.
